The Wedding Story ~Episode II~

The bridegroom feeding the cake to his bride. Looks yummy to me and no wonder that Anne seems like to taste it for more…

Then, the ‘cutting the wedding cake’ is also a must in every modern day wedding that I know. So, the ceremony is also had begun. After the bridegroom feeds the bride with the cake, then, it’s the bride turn to feed the bridegroom with the cake. I look around at the back of our table as if I can found anyone else that I know. It seems like I’m still failed to find even one except Seng Jean, Soon Yin, William and Mr. Loud Mouth Fairy, Yien Jong. The foods are keeps on coming. I can see Yien Jong is full. However, Soon Yin, William and their son are just like me. They’re never giving up except Soon Yin went out with Wee Ann for few times, while, I’m changing my drinks from plain water to my favorite drink of all time. What else if it’s not Pepsi Cola. When Yien Jong started to complain in front of me, I’m started to change the topic to something more fun like karaokeing. What the hell?! Yien Jong told me but hey, there was a karaoke show to celebrate the ceremony. Like the emcee himself, he was contributed two songs for the bride and bridegroom. I may not know the name of the song but I’m certainly knows the name of the singer. First of all, the song from Andy Lau and the second was from Jackie Cheung. The other guests also contribute some two or three songs just for the bride and the bridegroom. The bridegroom (Kien Fatt – Anne’s hubby) also contributes three songs to entertain the guests that night. First, he entertained Anne with the JJ Lin’s song. Too bad, I don’t know the title of the song but hey, it’s very popular airplay on the radio. Clearly, he was the fan of JJ Lin because most of the time he sings the song from JJ Lin. Well, JJ Lin is not bad, that for those who loves the pop ballad song. Then, some other guest who sings for tonight was the former contestant of ASTRO Talent Quest. Thanks to Yien Jong which becomes my translator that night. There are also lots of duets and also bunch of the groups of guests sing the song to makes the ceremony really happening. Soon Yin urged me to sing but I refused to do so because I’ve told her that I’m giving someone else chance to sing. Yep, I’ve always dream to become a wedding singer (like Adam Sandler did) and even wanted to entertain all my best friends during the wedding days. However, I guess I’m wanted to enjoy the night all the way. For the entire night, I was chit-chatting and even make fun of Yien Jong.

The emcee was showing his talent by contributing two songs for the bride and bridegroom. What say you, Simon Cowell? Is he qualified for American Idol?



If I’m not mistaken, the one who wears the pink clothes was the contestant of ASTRO Talent Quest…

For all these times, he always make fun of me and this is my time make fun of him. Then, I’ve asked him whether he like to sing the song to entertain the guests for tonight but he refused to do so. Yep, his stupid reason was waiting for me to have wedding ceremony. More and more foods are coming and the last food that are coming for tonight was the fried prawn with butter. I’m only enjoyed one piece of prawn while Yien Jong refused to it because of the high cholesterol. However, I’m assured him that even if they eat healthier and having good exercise, someday, people will die too. So, before I die, I would like to taste all the food with the moderate way of eating style. Everyone keeps on enjoying food and entertainment. As I saw from Anne’s face, I know she was very excited to see everyone comes including us. When the desserts are coming, Wee Ann is quickly picking a cake while Yien Jong and I are quickly picking a fruit. Suddenly, I’m craving for cake after I saw the wedding cake just now. I’ve eat one piece of cake, just to try. “I can’t believe it! You’re going to blow out your stomach very soon, girl.” whispered Yien Jong to my ears. But I’ve told him that again that I was learning the right eating technique which I won’t tell anyone about it. I know he was jealous at me because I won’t spill the secret. The little Wee Ann the wish both of us goodbye as they’re to take off back home that night. I’m also wishing the best to Wee Ann. Meanwhile, Soon Yin and William also says goodbye to both me and Yien Jong before gone to home. While at the stage, a bunch of the guests still happily singing here and then, just to cheer up the entire ceremony. The other guests are taking off just like we did too. At the outside, Anne is already waiting with her husband and their both side of their family to greet all guests for tonight. The only thing that I could is congratulated her and wishing her the best forever and after. Well, she’s happy with that after all. Hmm… that night, I’m forcing Yien Jong to send me home. We’re still talking about Anne’s wedding. Well, hopefully, I will attend another wedding. Could be Yien Jong?! (“Haiya, me again!” shouted Yien Jong) The wedding bells haven’t ringing yet either for both of us. Well, for the newlyweds Anne and Kien Fatt, I wish them good luck and happiness throughout the years to come.



The bridegroom was entertained the bride by singing the song that originally sung by JJ Lin…



I’m only know the girl’s name – Mandy… (“Mandy Moore?” – Yien Jong joke out)
